Valley of Fire Tour

Just a quick 20 minutes north of Las Vegas is one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world, Valley of Fire.  Its name says it all.  Here you will be surrounded by red sandstone formations that, when the sun hits them, seem to burn like a red-hot ember.  Valley of Fire is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park.  Here you can immerse yourself in the desolate beauty of the Mojave Desert.  Drive in the shadows of the red sandstone formations, where 3,000 years ago early humans told the tale of their lives via petroglyphs on the canyon walls.  After you leave the park you will head into the Lake Mead recreation area where you will find the largest man-made lake in the country, Lake Mead.  On this section of the drive you will leave the desert plateau and drop into the canyons that carve their way through the rugged desert mountains.  These roads are excellent with sharp corners, steep grades, and long straights.
